Beat the heat...and bowl!

We've been bowling this summer -- for free! It's a great way to beat the heat, and the rain.  My, my, we have some competitive folks in the group. Last time there was ten of us. The boys had one lane and the girls had the other. Thank goodness for that. But they are getting dawg gone good at it.

Bowling has never been a sport for us. Something we never even thought much about. Last summer when L. and C. stayed with their Aunt Carol and Uncle David, they took the kids bowling. And they loved it. So when the schools promoted free bowling for the summer, they were eagerly excited. You only need to rent your shoes and you can play 2 free games a day ALL SUMMER LONG.
