Laci received one of these little thingamajiggers for Christmas this year. She's been wanting to learn the mandolin, as the strings are the same as a fiddle. So her daddy got her one for Christmas.
No formal lessons as of yet, although she can pluck out some songs that she plays on her fiddle. Maybe one day lessons will be in her future. But for now she's just pluck'n away in her spare time.
Much of what she has on her mind these days is dancing, so ... this summer she will be taking tap and ballet. She's so excited. Pictures will follow later ...

Better pluckin' a mandolin than a chicken! Corinna is excited about dance, too. Think we're gonna go with tap and jazz. The ballet class time won't work the weeks school is still in session. I think our girls will be in the same tap class.
