I sometimes forget that our 45-pound puppy is only 10 months old. But thankfully, he is as big as he is going to get.
They do not call the Springers velcro dogs for nothing. He follows me to the bathroom, he follows me to the kitchen, he follows me to the mailbox, and he follows me to the car when the kids grab their backpacks for school. He loves taking and picking them up from school. At first he would bark at all the people around our car when I would stop to load and unload the kids, but he's chilled out a little.
He is quite ferocious looking, isn't he?
I know everyone thinks "Why do they bring that dog up here everyday?"
Truth is, he knows the time they go to school, they grab their backpacks and his little nub tail is wagging at warp speed so who could say no. Plus, he darts out the door and is in the car before we are. It's the highlight of his day. And the kids love to see him when we go and pick them up.
He loves our creek ... a little too much, actually. We've given him bath after bath. And he's right back in there again. So we give up.
And he loves the snow. It's been crazy here with 70 degrees one day and snowing the next. It snowed Sunday night and just so happened the kids were off Monday for President's Day. That worked out well. So we had friends over for fun.
The Coldstone family ~
We are enjoying our new friend. The kids have been good to care for him. He's really sweet and fun and has been a blessing to our family!
