OUR BIRTHDAY FRIEND, LAURELYN!

We were off to a birthday party Saturday for our sweet little friend Laurelyn. She turned the big 4!!! She's so quiet and so sweet. And she had her birthday party at the coolest place, Central Carolina Gymnastics, where she takes gymnastics each week. What better place to round up about 20 of your bestest friends. You can run, jump, and scream and nobody cares!!!

She was practically attacked the minute the present-opening ceremonies began. Isn't it funny, at this age they All assume the presents are for them to open.
But the highlight of the afternoon was swinging into the foam pit.
Even the birthday girl's father gave it the Old College Try!
The nice thing about having your party here is all you have to do is bring the kids and the cake! They provide the paper products, they serve and clean up, and they provide a few structured activities also. Leaving time for mom to spend with the birthday girl.

Beth and Noah are also foster parents. There's sweet little Daniel, who is always smiling and happy. Isn't it wonderful he has a wonderful, stable place to call home! Thumbs up to you and Noah for having a heart for these little ones that need a loving home. Beth is also the one who inspired me to blog. And I'm so glad she did. It has become a favorite thing for me. My pictures now have a purpose, a home, for all of my family to enjoy.

Now, back to the birthday party! We ate cake and ice cream, of course.

And then we spent the rest of the afternoon playing the sweets off!

Doesn't this look like loads of fun? Laci has been going to summer camp here for years, and would love to make gymnastics a full-time occupation. This year Caleb will be old enough to go with her to summer camp. Let the games begin!!!
